Depart Christchurch and travel by road through the rural pastoral scenes of North Canterbury. Your first stop will be to visit a working New Zealand sheep farm for a short tour and sheep shearing demonstration, before continue on to Thrill seekers Canyon, Hanmer Springs, to challenge the waters of the Waiau Gorge by jet boat or raft.
In the afternoon enjoy lunch at the Garden House Cafe and relax in the Hanmer Springs Thermal Resort pools
On the return journey to Christchurch a stop will be made in the Waipara Valley, one of New Zealand's most rapidly expanding wine regions, for wine tasting.
The tour cost includes lunch, admission to thermal pools, farm visit and wine tasting. Also included in the tour price is the choice of one of the following; jet boating, rafting or therapeutic massage.
