In 2003 New Zealand's vibrant capital (Wellington) hosted the biggest party to hit Wellingtons streets for the premiere of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Wellington is the capital of Middle Earth and features many fantastic Lord of the Rings Day trips to the locations where filming took place.
