Abel Tasman National Park is situated on the Northwestern Coast of the South Island. Small but perfectly formed, the park extends inland for an average of about 9 kilometres. In December 1942, exactly 300 years after the Dutch Explorer Abel Tasman sailed into Golden Bay The Abel Tasman National Park was created. The park offers golden sand Beachs and Native Bush that falls to turquoise waters.
